I am a seeker and a doer, a sometimes-explorer and wishful adventurer.  i'm a bit of an existentialist, not in a depressing franz kafka-albert camus kind of way, but more of a sieze  this day as an opportunity to create my own meaning by choosing every concious minute to improve and potentiate myself and my world kind of way.  I admit,  I sometimes falter in this endeavor,  but it is my goal, and its pursuit helps me hone my purpose. I am a father of two girls,  an army veteran, a vegetarian,  a secular humanist, a sometimes close-minded political and social liberal, an animal rights advocate(maybe crusader),  a humane law enforcement officer, a neo-deadhead,  and citizen of planet earth.
